PDQ Water, backflow prevention, testing and repair is owned and operated by Lynn Christensen.  It is located in the heart of Downtown Davis, CA and is a subsidiary of PDQ Fingerprinting, Inc. and Parcel Dispatch, PDQ.

Lynn and his wife Laura started PDQ in 1981 offering mailbox rental services for the public. The business quickly grew with the addition of UPS, FedEx and USPS shipping, Notary Public and Livescan Fingerprinting.

Always the entrepreneur Lynn continued to seek new business opportunities. After years of having his own backflow device tested he considered becoming a backflow tester himself. He explored what it would take to become a certified backflow tester and realized it was a niche worth pursuing. 

Lynn has been testing and repairing backflow devices for over a decade and he recently recruited his youngest son Gary to assist in the trade. They work together to help keep the water supply safe for the citizens of Davis and neighboring communities. It’s a high pressure job but the Christensen’s are up for the challenge.
